Sponsor the Logic Letter
What a sponsorship is
The Logic Letter is LifeByLogic’s free weekly letter. Each shared edition centres on one published study and one of our tests. A sponsor books one slot in one edition for an agreed run of days: a short block with the sponsor’s name, who offers it, one plain sentence and a link.
An edition carries one sponsor at most. Its block is labeled Sponsor and comes after the edition’s own content: the study, the everyday example, the steps to try that week and the call to take the test. It never sits above that content or inside it.
Where a sponsor never appears
A sponsor never appears in the personal edition, which lists a member’s own saved results. It never appears in an edition that carries crisis support lines, in an edition about the Depression or Anxiety tests, or in an edition without a test of its own, such as the first.
Who can sponsor
LifeByLogic is a research-grounded publication, and its sponsors have to be as well: university courses, academic books, research tools and evidence-based programs. We do not take pop-psychology products, quizzes, or anything that claims more than its research supports.
A sponsor must fit the edition it books, through that edition’s test or the lab the test belongs to.
How a sponsor is vetted
A sponsor is vetted like every LifeByLogic partner, before it books a slot. Armin Allahverdy, PhD, vets health and sleep sponsors, and Eskezeia Y. Dessie, PhD, vets sponsors about method and courses.
- The research. The reviewer confirms that the sponsor exists and that what it offers rests on published research.
- The words. The reviewer checks that the sentence in the slot describes the offer in line with that research.
- The record. Each sponsor’s record keeps the reviewer’s name, the day it was vetted, the edition it booked and the days that edition carries it.
A sponsor’s next review is due no more than a year after it was vetted. Until then its link keeps working in the letters already sent; after that day the link leads to How we choose partners instead.
What a sponsor cannot buy
A sponsor cannot choose the study, change a word of an edition, see or contact subscribers, choose which readers receive its slot, or appear in an edition it does not fit. An edition reads the same with or without a sponsor.
What a sponsor receives
Two numbers, as totals: how many letters carried the slot, and how many times readers followed its link. Both are counted as daily totals for the sponsor and nothing else, as our Privacy Policy describes.
The link points to lifebylogic.com/api/go/ followed by two fixed words, the sponsor’s short name and letter, the same for every reader. From there the reader goes straight to the sponsor’s own address with no referrer. No name, email address, account, test or result goes to a sponsor. The Logic Letter does not track opens, so a sponsor gets no open rate, and Google Analytics does not record these clicks.
How the fee is set
While the list is small, a sponsorship is a flat fee for one edition over the days booked. We quote it in writing before you book, from the Logic Letter’s confirmed subscriber count at that time, which we give you with the quote. Once the list grows, the fee will be a price per thousand readers instead.
The fee buys the slot and nothing else: never a say in what we publish, and never anything about our readers.
Disclosure
Every slot is labeled Sponsor, carries the sponsor’s own disclosure line and says that LifeByLogic is paid for it, as the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides require. Current sponsors are listed with our other partners on How we choose partners.
How to book
Write to hello@lifebylogic.com with the subject “Logic Letter sponsorship”, saying what you offer and the research it rests on. If it fits, a reviewer vets it, and we tell you the editions open, the subscriber count and the fee. Your slot then runs on the days we agree. Our Editorial Policy covers our independence more broadly.
