§ The Logic Letter

One letter per week. Zero noise.

The Logic Letter is the weekly newsletter from LifeByLogic — short, evidence-based insights drawn from cognitive science, behavioral economics, and decision science. No tracking pixels, no upsells, no “you’ll never believe” headlines. Just one well-cited idea, every week.

§I. What’s in Each Letter

Short, cited, useful.

The Logic Letter is one well-cited idea per week, drawn from one of the four LifeByLogic laboratories. The exact format is being finalized; the principles below describe what every issue will share.

i.

Evidence-anchored

Every claim is sourced. Citations appear inline, with DOIs whenever available. If a study has been retracted, replicated, or contested, we say so.

No assertion without a source.
ii.

From the labs

Each letter draws on one of the four LifeByLogic laboratories — Brain Lab, Behavior Lab, Life Dashboard, or Crossroads Lab — extending the methodology you already see in our tools.

Tool methodology, expanded.
iii.

Short by design

Readable in five minutes. Built for thinking, not scrolling. No clickbait subject lines, no padding, no growth-hack tactics — just the idea, well presented.

Respect for your attention.
iv.

No tracking, no ads

No tracking pixels, no behavioral analytics, no advertising, no affiliate links. Your email address is used to send you the newsletter and nothing else. We do not share or sell the list.

See our Privacy Policy.
v.

Easy to leave

An unsubscribe link sits at the bottom of every issue. One click. No retention emails, no “are you sure?” popups, no follow-ups asking why. If it’s not for you, it’s not for you.

One click. Done.
§II. Before You Subscribe

The questions we hear most.

A few quick answers before you sign up.

i. When does the first letter go out?

The Logic Letter is in setup. We are reserving subscriptions now and will send the inaugural issue once the first set of letters has been drafted and reviewed against the same editorial standards as our tools. Subscribers will receive the first issue at no notice required — if you’ve subscribed, it’ll arrive.

ii. What will each letter actually contain?

The exact format is being finalized. The principles — evidence-anchored, drawn from the labs, short, no tracking, easy to leave — are fixed. The specific shape of each issue (essay, finding-of-the-week, cross-disciplinary connection, or a mix) will be announced before launch. See the blog for our existing long-form essays.

iii. How is this different from the blog?

The blog is occasional editorial pieces — longer, less frequent, and unscheduled. The Logic Letter is short, weekly, and delivered to your inbox. They share the same editorial standards but serve different reading patterns.

iv. Will you ever charge for the newsletter?

No firm commitment either way. If we ever introduce paid tiers, the existing weekly letter will remain free — paid content would be additive, not a removal of the free version. Most likely, the letter stays free indefinitely; tool-level premium features (e.g., detailed PDF reports) are a more natural place for any future paid offering.

v. What data do you collect when I subscribe?

Your email address. Nothing else. We do not ask for your name, location, profession, or interests. We do not track which letters you open or which links you click beyond aggregate counts. We do not share or sell the list. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
